- We have chosen to implement the Responsibility-Centered Discipline (RCD) framework in efforts to support the social emotional needs of our students and staff. We will explore our beliefs about discipline and look for solutions to improve our discipline techniques. Teachers using the Give ‘Em Five themes: Support, Expectation, Breakdown, Benefit, and Closure to incorporate into conversations. Essentially, students take the responsibility! A book study of Roadmap to Responsibility by Larry Thompson will start in January with practice scenarios.
